Your mother sounds like a very brave person.I've always thought that positive thinking can change completely our outlook on life. I have adopted a healthy eating pattern based on the Mediterranean diet, but, unfortunately I haven't been able yet to give up smoking. Surely there's a will, but I can't find the way! Great post!

Anastasia, Thank you for your comment. Yes my mother is being so brave. She has lived a healthy and honest life, and it breaks my heart to see her go through this. Cancer is a horrible thing, and it has jolted all of our lives. Last year I started using a keychain trainer to exercise with, I did great until Winter hit, and then my plan crumbled. I lost 21 pounds, felt like a million dollars, and then started using every reason as to why I can just start it again tomorrow. The problem was, tomorrow never came. And now I start all over again to get the 20 pounds off again.. Stopping smoking is a very hard thing to do. Been there done that! I have never had a weight problem until I turned 45. I have always been under weight, so this dieting and exercising routine is a hard thing for me to do... Thanx for your friendship here. Admiration Julie
